Cover Image Description: Photo of policeman and boy in police car wearing police hat and speaking on car phone. Caption: Little Johnathan Miller of 26 Brereton Avenue, Cleethorpes, Lines, is police daft. Johnathan has a serious heart defect and, until recently, had a very limited life expectancy. He was spotted by PC Tony Harris (0472 67131) and his wife Julie - one of the group in our Grimsby wives photo on page 554-who have helped to make the little boy's life happy by seeing that he gets badges, photos and letters from the local bobbies. At the moment Johnathan has measles but in mid May he will be coming down to Guys Hospital where there are hopes that a top surgeon will be able to operate successfully. Recently Johnathan was taken to Hull where he was introduced to an American police officer who had brought police badges and other souvenirs from the States especially for him. He would love to hear from some London policemen when he is in hospital - we're sure he won't be disappointed.
