Cover Image Description: Photo of interior of a church. Caption: It is said that on Christmas night the stars shine more brightly than at any other time of the year. They do on the fine nave roof, magnificently restored, of Holy Trinity Church, Kingston upon Hull. Some 200 stars made from lead taken from the old nave roof have been replaced and gilded. The scheme won a Heritage Year Award from the Civic Trust who kindly supplied the photograph. The church was begun in 1300, finished in 1418 and is one of the largest parish churches in England.
