On Monday, 28th July 1997 police at Limivady RUC Station received a request by telephone to facilitate a station visit for some children who were staying at the Magilligan field Centre. Coincidentally, the SDO on duty, Constable Tommy Lindsay, has served in the Field Centre when it was Magilligan RUC station.
